AbitibiBowater's sawmill workers in Quebec reject contract proposal

AbitibiBowater's workers at 4 sawmills in Quebec have voted 53% against their latest contract proposal.

The 4 sawmills, with a collective total of 500 workers, are Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean in Girardville, Mistassini, The Gold, and St. Thomas.

The workers are represented by the CEP-FTQ.
