Burns Lake Community Forest fined for visual quality objectives infraction

Recently, the Burns Lake Community Forest in British Columbia was fined $7,500 by the Ministry of Forest Lands and Natural Resource Operations for clearcutting a forest that was determined by the Ministry to be a ‘significant viewpoint’.
