Grant Forest Products puts Timmins OSB mill up for sale

Grant Forest Products has put its Timmins, Ontario oriented strand board (OSB) mill up for sale.

Last June, Grant Forest Products applied for creditor protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act in order to have time to restructure.

Georgia-Pacific, the American firm bidding to buy the Englehart operation has indicated it has no interest in the Timmins plant.

Interested parties are asked to contact Ernst & Young, the monitoring company for the creditor protection period. The deadline is March 31st, but Grand Forest Products has indicated they may decide to extend the deadline.
