The mill managers at Kruger's paper mill in Corner Brook, Newfoundland do not want to accept all of their bonuses until the wages of their staff increase.
The managers left 60% of their bonuses on the table.
Tension has been high at the mill, especially after word spread that the managers would be receiving bonuses after the workers accepted wage cuts.
The economics of the mill have also been affected, as debate over the bonuses has derailed long-term negotiations on the mill's future.
