Newsprint price to increase

The RISI forest products information service also reports that AbitibiBowater, White Birch, Kruger, and Tembec are seeking to boost newsprint in two $25/metric ton installments on Nov. 1 and Dec. 1.

Catalyst Paper is telling U.S. customers that it will increase the price by $50/metric ton on Dec. 1.
