Port Alberni could be heated from Catalyst's steam

The waste steam from a Catalyst Paper paper mill may be used some day to heat large buildings in Port Alberti.

For this to happen, heat lines would be located in a corridor so the roads and sidewalks can be left undisturbed.

In exchange for the heat, Port Alberni may be willing to lower Catalyst Paper's municipal taxes.
