Recent video of Wawa 18 fire in Ontario

Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) videos of the Wawa 18 fire:

This fire has exhibited extreme behaviour that resulted in an emergency order being declared yesterday morning.

An Emergency Area Order is used when a forest fire situation warrants the use of special measures to ensure public safety, help with an evacuation and to ensure effective forest fire management.

At least 22 hydro poles have been burned, cutting power to the town of Chapleau. At this time, Hydro One is saying it may be several days before they can safely allow their crews to repair the line.
