Tembec has announced scheduled downtime for this summer:

Summer Shutdowns:

• Cochrane, Ontario - 5 weeks - beginning June 28


• Senneterre, Quebec - 5 weeks - beginning June 28


• Kapuskasing, Ontario - 2 weeks - beginning June 28


• Chapleau, Ontario - 2 weeks - beginning July 28

Re-opening:

• Bearn, Quebec - resuming production on July 19 for 14 weeks

The downtime is scheduled for several reasons, including market conditions, chip inventories, and normal summer shutdowns.
