AbitibiBowater has reached a tentative agreement with the Quebec Federation of Labour.
The agreement took 9 days of negotiations to hammer out. The details have not been released, but do include wage concessions.
The ratification of the agreement is dependant on AbitibiBowater exiting bankruptcy protection.
Workers will now vote on the deal.
AbitibiBowater has been operating under court protection from bankruptcy in the U.S. and Canada since April, 2009.
