Transport Union strike in Finland will close UPM mills

Due to a strike by the Finnish Transport Worker's Union, UPM's paper mills in Finland are expected to close within the week.

The strike is preventing the transportation of raw materials to the mills.

UPM says if the strike spreads to the dock workers at the ports of Finland, all of their paper machines in the country will be closed within a few days.

UPM said the strike will probably cost them 3 million Euro a day.
