Two mills have reopened today in McBride, British Columbia.

The National Choice Specialty Wood sawmill will be exporting its lumber to Chinese markets. National Choice Bio Fuels Industries bought the mill's assets from Dore River.
Forest Minister Pat Bell is crediting the Community Forest in McBride for finding a way to get fibre to the TRC Cedar mill, allowing it to reopen. TRC Cedar produces cedar posts and rail fencing.
40 jobs have been created by the reopening of the mills.
