- The boilers were shut down. The equipment in the mill is at risk of damage if the temperature gets too cold.
- The mill has been losing money at the rate of $1.5 - $1.7 million a month.
- The company has only committed to paying health care costs for its workers until the end of Marc.h
- Suppliers have been hauling their products out of the mill. The entire facility is said to be "empty" except for the wood in the yard.
- Only a few management personnel are working at the mill now. The "essential services" that they are preforming will only be maintained to the end of March.
