The Yukon territory has recalled all their firefighters and air tankers from British Columbia where they were helping the province battle wildfires.
Forest fire danger ratings in the Yukon have risen to dangerous levels with more hot and dry weather on the way. Fire officials in the territory decided today that it would be best to have their crews and resources available.
78 forest fires have been reported in the Yukon so far this season, burning more than 145,000 hectares of forest.
