AbitibiBowater has prospective buyer for Mackenzie, BC mills

AbitibiBowater is in "advanced discussions" with a potential buyer for its two sawmills, and possibly its pulp and paper mill, in Mackenzie, British Columbia.

The Mackenzie Pulp and Paper mill was idled in November 2007 and permanently closed in November 2008. The sawmills were idled at the same time, but have restarted on a limited basis since last October (2009).
