In 2008, two electricians and a student received first, second, and third degree burns after making contact with a live conductor at the AbitibiBowater mill in Fort Frances, Ontario.
As a result of the incident, AbitibiBowater has been fined $125,000 and a 25% victim surcharge for violating the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
