Canfor sells Uneeda Wood Products

Canfor is selling its Uneeda Wood Products mill to BID Group of Companies.

Uneeda Wood Products employs about 100 people in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

The mill is excited to return to its roots as an independent mill. Not only does the mill not expect layoffs, the company is current hiring.

BID Group of Companies, out of Vanderhoof, B.C., owns seven different companies, including a fingerjointed lumber plant.
