Tolko extends its curtailment in Spallumcheen

The curtailment that began at Tolko Industries's plywood operation in Spallumcheen, British Columbia on July 5th, will be extended for an additional week.

140 employees are affected by the temporary curtailment.

The mill is experiencing high levels of inventory due to a decrease in U.S. housing starts and lower sales.
